Abstract in English
School managers play a strategic role in positioning digital information and communication technologies (DICT) and media in the school environment. Being responsible for implementing and managing the school project, they can adopt different approaches to incorporate elements of digital culture - technical processes, practices, values and attitudes - in pedagogical proposals. This research, carried out from the perspective of the Communication and Education interface, aims to investigate whether the attitudes adopted by these professionals can be acknowledged as distancing or approximation as far as DICT and media are concerned. To carry out this study, we analyzed the Political Pedagogical Projects of the EMEFs Edgard Carone and Remo Rinaldi Naddeo in the city of São Paulo, as well as interviewed the managers of these educational units. The investigation promoted the perception that the conduct adopted by these professionals varies according to the training of each individual, the division of labor among the management team, and it is also marked by the political and social context of the moment, for example, the emergency remote education, consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which forced managers to get acquainted with the digital sphere.
