A presente pesquisa teve como objeto empírico a minissérie "Amorteamo" (Rede Globo, 2015), uma obra que mostra aborda como as disputas românticas entre dois triângulos amorosos que provocam, de maneira insólita, a volta dos mortos-vivos na Recife do início do século XX. Por sua vez, o objeto teórico configura-se no estudo dos processos de produção de sentido (dialógicos, plurais, abertos e complexos) materializados nesta ficção. Assim, o problema de pesquisa localiza-se na seguinte questão: Como são apresentados os processos de produção de sentido da minissérie "Amorteamo" por meio da combinação simbiótica entre as cosmovisões melodramáticas, carnavalescas e fantásticas? Como hipótese central, afirma-se que o excesso é o elemento estético-estilístico simbiótico que une essas três cosmovisões na diegese ficcional. Com base em fundamentos teóricos interdisciplinares que transitam pela Comunicação, Literatura, Estudos da Linguagem, Filosofia, Cinema e Estudos de Televisão, esta pesquisa delineou-se como um estudo que propõe a discussão do excesso em suas múltiplas articulações. A abordagem metodológica colocada em ação é a qualitativa e, para tanto, o olhar investigativo detém-se sobre os territórios das mensagens e dos códigos televisivos - com um apreço específico pelo mundo fictivo da televisão - entendendo-os como forma textual e locus de representação cultural. Os procedimentos metodológicos adotados propiciaram investigar: a dimensão descritiva e analítica (oriundos dos estudos estilísticos televisivos); a dimensão verbo-visual televisiva (adaptada do Método de Análise de Imagens em Movimento); e a diegese com base na perspectiva narratológica (em perspectiva pós-estruturalista) aliada aos articuladores ficcionais televisivos. Foram realizadas cinco análises dedicadas à vinheta de abertura, às personagens, às sequências cênicas e, secundariamente, aos fios dialógicos internos (intertextos) e externos (sentimentalização dos mortos-vivos) da obra. Entre os achados da pesquisa, destacamos: 1) confirma-se a hipótese de que o excesso é o elemento que opera a simbiose entre o melodrama, a carnavalização e o fantástico; 2) percebe-se que a ambiguidade e a ambivalência são os elementos meta-condensadores que mobilizam o excesso em sua simbiose; e 3) a base das produções de sentido na minissérie são calcadas na efemeridade, isto é, o caráter ambíguo e ambivalente ecoados na materialidade audiovisual encontram na efemeridade dos sentidos o ponto de partida para todas as modelações do excesso simbiótico.

The present research has as its empirical object the miniseries "Amorteamo" (Rede Globo, 2015), a show that addresses how the romantic disputes between two love triangles cause, in an unusual way, the return of the undead in Recife (at the beginning of the 20th century). In turn, the theoretical object is the study of the production of meanings (dialogic, plural, open and complex) materialized in this fiction. Thus, the research problem is located in the following question: How the production of meaning is presented in the miniseries "Amorteamo" through the symbiotic combination between melodramatic, carnival and fantastic worldviews? Therefore, as a central hypothesis, it is stated that excess is the symbiotic aesthetic-stylistic element that unites the three worldviews mentioned within fictional diegesis. Thus, based on interdisciplinar theoretical frameworks that pass toward Communication, Literature, Language Studies, Philosophy, Cinema, and Television Studies, this research proposes the discussion of excess in its multiple articulations. The methodological approach is qualitative and, for this purpose, the investigative look is focused on the territories of television messages and codes - with a specific appreciation for the fictional world of television - understanding them as a textual form and locus of cultural representations. The methodological procedures are: 1) the descriptive and analytical dimension (from the stylistic television studies); the television verb-visual dimension (adapted from the Analysis of Moving Images); and narratological analysis (in a post-structuralist perspective) combined with fictional television articulators. In this sense, five analyzes are carried out that observe the opening credits [vignette], the characters, the scenic sequences and, secondly, the internal (intertext) and external (sentimentalization of the undead) dialogical visions of the work. Finally, the main conclusions are: 1) the hypothesis that excess is the element that operates the symbiosis between melodrama, carnivalization and the fantastic is validated; 2) it is perceived that ambiguity and ambivalence are the meta-condensing elements that mobilize excess in its symbiosis; and 3) the grounds for the production of meaning in the miniseries is based on ephemerality, that is, the ambiguous and ambivalent character echoed in the audiovisual materiality finds in the ephemerality of the senses the origin point for all possible forms and shapes of the symbiotic excess.
