Portal Catarinas

Abstract in English
The present work analyzes the Instagram of two feminist journalism collectives, Feminacida, from Argentina, and Portal Catarinas, from Brazil. It is anchored in a theoretical scope that mobilizes decolonial and gender theories. The objective is to analyze how the collectives use the digital resources of the Instagram network to carry out a communicative practice capable of transgressing the hegemonic communicational logics. In addition, it seeks to verify how (and if) they refer to the issues of Latin American decolonial feminism. The methodology used was Digital Ethnography by observation and monitoring, initially carrying out a screening of feminist groups on Instagram, and later, following the two chosen pages for four months. 191 publications were collected on @portalcatarinas and 222 publications on @feminacida, which were analyzed according to their themes and formats. As a result of the research, it was noticed that there is a relationship with a decolonial perspective in the posts, in the digital practices, considering the thematic limits according to the specificities of each country.
