Esta dissertação tem como objetivo empírico analisar os enunciados discursivos verbo-visuais das protagonistas femininas da narrativa da série Coisa Mais Linda (Netflix, 2019, 2020), procurando avaliar as representações identitárias dessas personagens sob a luz de uma perspectiva interseccional. Com base em uma perspectiva interdisciplinar faz uso de fundamentos teóricos que transitam pela Comunicação, Estudos da Linguagem, Estudos de Televisão, Estudos de Gênero e sob uma abordagem calcada na interseccionalidade, a pesquisa realiza um estudo de caso que analisa a produção de sentidos das representações discursivas das protagonistas femininas da série. Em termos de procedimentos metodológicos, adaptamos o Método de Análise de Imagens em Movimento (ROSE, 2015) para análise dos episódios das duas temporadas da série, estabelecendo correlações entre o discurso verbo-visual das protagonistas e a produção de sentido, tendo como base categorizações oriundas da perspectiva interseccional dos estudos de gênero (BASSANEZI, 2004; CRENSHAW,1991, 2002; COLLINS; BILGE, 2021; hooks, 1991, 1992, 1995, 2013, 2019, 2020). Realizaram-se duas etapas de análises: em um primeiro momento, mensuramos o tempo de tela e a quantidade de cenas de cada protagonista para discutir, sob um ponto de vista interseccional, implicações sobre o protagonismo feminino múltiplo; para, em seguida, numa mirada interseccional também, analisarmos os indicadores sócio-identitários presentes nos discursos da série envolvendo as protagonistas. Como resultados, destacamos que o protagonismo múltiplo é centrado quantitativamente em uma das protagonistas, porém, quando levamos em conta aspectos verbais e visuais, todas as personagens do protagonismo múltiplo ganham relevância no desenvolvimento da narrativa. Quanto à interseccionalidade representacional de Coisa Mais Linda, é possível observar que predominantemente a categoria gênero é acionada nos arcos narrativos das protagonistas, destacar a falta da articulação de outras categorias dos marcadores sócio-identitários e realçar que a representação de personagens com identidades interseccionais seria um avanço concreto de representatividade na promessa de diversidade em ficções seriadas idealizadas pela TV distribuída pela internet.

This dissertation has the empirical objective of analyzing the verbal-visual discursive utterances of the female protagonists of the narrative of the series Girls from Ipanema (Netflix, 2019, 2020), seeking to evaluate the identity representations of these characters in the light of an intersectional perspective. Based on an interdisciplinary perspective, it makes use of theoretical foundations that transit through Communication, Language Studies, Television Studies, Gender Studies and under an approach based on intersectionality, the research carries out a case study that analyzes the production of meanings of representations discourses of the female protagonists of the series. In terms of methodological procedures, it is adapted the Analysis Moving Image (ROSE, 2015) to analyze the episodes of the two seasons of the series, establishing correlations between the verbal-visual discourse of the protagonists and the production of meaning, based on categorizations from the intersectional perspective of gender studies (BASSANEZI, 2004; CRENSHAW,1991, 2002; COLLINS; BILGE, 2021; hooks, 1991, 1992, 1995, 2013, 2019, 2020). Two stages of analysis were carried out: first, it is measured the screen time and the number of scenes of each protagonist to discuss, from an intersectional point of view, implications on multiple female protagonism; for, then, in an intersectional look, the socio-identity indicators presented in the discourses of the series involved as protagonists are analyzed. As a result, it is highlighted that the multiple protagonism is quantitatively centered on one of the protagonists, however, when it considers verbal and visual aspects, all the characters of the multiple protagonism gain relevance in the development of the narrative. As for the representational intersectionality of Girls from Ipanema, it is possible to observe that the gender category is predominantly activated in the narrative arcs of the protagonists and highlight the lack of articulation of other categories of socio-identity markers. And it is possible to establish the representation of characters with intersectional identities would be a concrete advance of representativeness in the promise of diversity in serial fiction idealized by TV distributed over the internet.
