Esta pesquisa discorre sobre a visualidade dos figurinos de quadrilhas juninas. Fazendo parte das tradições folclóricas nordestinas, herança trazida pela corte portuguesa, as quadrilhas são um patrimônio cultural e imaterial dos brasileiros, frutos de nosso tempo, pois acompanham uma tendência que descaracterizou as manifestações tradicionais, mas que ressignificou as atuais, sendo os trajes, os elementos visuais que mais chamam atenção numa apresentação e que geram discussões sobre tradicionalidade. A composição dos trajes atuais caminha para a mudança de seus elementos originais simplórios e para a construção de trajes luxuosos influenciados por uma tradição mutante. Nesta pesquisa, problematiza-se a influência da mídia e da moda na construção de trajes de quadrilhas. Analisamos a construção dos trajes das quadrilhas cearenses e suas contradições diante das críticas que surgiram com a estilização das quadrilhas. Nesse sentido, a hipótese que norteou este trabalho foi: a mídia e a indústria da moda influenciaram a construção dos trajes das quadrilhas juninas, alterando assim, a tradição das quadrilhas juninas? Foram também questões fundamentais: como os trajes das quadrilhas estilizadas transformaram-se em elementos de discussão na composição de trajes? Como as festas de São João movimentam o mercado de produção de trajes? Como os trajes de quadrilhas constroem e expressam os valores das identidades regionais? O método utilizado para a composição da pesquisa abrangeu uma revisão bibliográfica sobre os temas trajes, quadrilhas, festivais culturais patrimônio imaterial e moda, bem como a relação existente entre os conceitos citados. Foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo sobre o trabalho de construção dos trajes das quadrilhas por meio de critérios que visam identificar os elementos que elegem as quadrilhas como um patrimônio cultural e imaterial do Brasil. Analisamos, através de quadrilhas, destaques e brincantes, o trabalho dos figurinistas que se destacam na construção dos trajes, abordando sua construção e suas transformações como patrimônio cultural e imaterial brasileiro.

This research discusses the visuality of the costumes of June gangs. Being part of the folkloric traditions of the Northeast, a heritage brought by the Portuguese court, the gangs are a cultural and intangible heritage of Brazilians, fruits of our time, as they follow a trend that has decharacterized the traditional manifestations, but that has resignified the current ones, with the costumes being the visual elements that draw the most attention in a presentation and that generate discussions about traditionality. The composition of the current costumes moves towards the change of their original simple-minded elements and the construction of luxurious costumes influenced by a mutant tradition. In this research, the influence of the media and fashion on the construction of gang costumes is problematized. We analyze the construction of the costumes of the gangs in Ceará and their contradictions in the face of the criticisms that arose with the stylization of the gangs. In this sense, the hypothesis that guided this work was: did the media and the fashion industry influence the construction of the costumes of the June gangs, thus changing the tradition of the June gangs? There were also fundamental questions: how did the stylized gang costumes become elements of discussion in the composition of costumes? How do the festivities of São João move the costume production market? How do gang costumes construct and express the values of regional identities? The method used for the composition of the research included a bibliographic review on the themes costumes, gangs, cultural festivals - intangible heritage and fashion, as well as the relationship between the concepts mentioned. A field research was carried out on the construction of gang costumes by means of criteria that aim to identify the elements that elect gangs as a cultural and intangible heritage of Brazil. We analyzed, through gangs, highlights and jokers, the work of the costume designers who stand out in the construction of the costumes, addressing their construction and their transformations as Brazilian cultural and intangible heritage
