Esta dissertação analisa o efeitismo do modo melodramático presente na narrativa de um serializado para streaming, a série Bom dia Verônica. A pesquisa inicia-se com uma conceituação deste modo e suas diferenciações enquanto gênero, compreendendo as características do melodrama que atravessam inúmeras mídias e formatos, com foco específico na característica da estética do efeito. A partir da discussão dos formatos de série e da narrativa serializada se estabelecem relações deste último com o melodrama em obras como soap opera e telenovelas, formatos intrinsecamente relacionados ao gênero. As características do modo melodramático são identificadas na narrativa da série criada originalmente para streaming por Raphael Montes e Ilana Casoy, Bom dia Verônica, demonstrando como o modo melodramático faz-se presente na narrativa de uma série serializada.

This dissertation analyzes the effectism of the melodramatic mode present in the narrative of a serialized for streaming, the series Good Morning Veronica. The research begins with a conceptualization of the melodramatic mode and its differentiations in relation to genre, understanding the characteristics of melodrama that cross numerous media and formats, with a specific focus on the characteristic of the aesthetics of the effect. Subsequently, the understanding of serial formats and serialized narrative allows finding the relationship between this format and melodrama from works such as soap operas and telenovelas, formats always intrinsically related to the genre. Finally, the characteristics of the melodramatic mode are identified in the narrative of the series originally created for streaming by Raphael Montes and Ilana Casoy, Good Morning Veronica, demonstrating how the melodramatic mode is present in the narrative of a series serialized for streaming.
