Abstract in English
This research analyzes the first two feature films made for cinema by the Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul: Mysterious Object at Noon and Blissfully Yours. On the one hand, it seeks to bring the analysis of films closer to the theoretical fields of studies of orality and Amerindian perspectivism, on the other hand, to expand the consequences of these approaches in a reflection on the construction of divergent temporalities, which question and stress modern teleological time. From this premise, the dissertation seeks to relate the artist's first two films with the rest of his work made for cinema, looking for echoes and overlaps that aim to broaden and deepen the possibilities of reading and experience in the relationship with the filmmaker's filmography. Using the concepts of mouvance and point of view as central mediators, we seek to extract from the films themselves the strategies through which Apichatpong builds his work, endowing his cinema with a certain performativity that includes and mobilizes memory in favor of a permanent update and relativization of the relational experience in multiple instances: of the work with the spectator, of the work with its object, of the spectator with the object of the work and between the works themselves. Between the manifest speech and its latency, between the recording and its updating, the aim is to trace a possible path for the analysis to be combined with the synthesis and from the appreciation of the depth of what is most specific in each narrative, it is possible to arrive at to the epidermis of what makes it, not without risks, collective and shared.
