Abstract in English
This study provided a picture of the middle and high school students from a private institution enjoying classes inspired by the dojo artistic experience. Students' path elaboration follows the idea of the Japanese concept 'Michi', in which panorama is based on individual and group actions by deepening the body. Initially, autoethnographic research took place in 'Jardim dos Ventos', where Toshi Tanaka's (Japanese artist) Do-ho technique, Reigi Sah etiquette, and the connection between nature and Art (Fugaku) are cultivated. The artist's intensive self-knowledge process guided the creation of a meditative state in the class cycle, supporting students to achieve awareness of their internal symbolic universe. Thus, the following step of the research considered the transformation aspects of students' behavior, such as classroom space utilization, student relations, and student autonomy, which were affected by the previous procedure. Finally, the theoretical framework consisted of Gaston Bachelard, David Le Breton, Jacques Rancière, and Paulo Freire, among others, studies contributions.
