Abstract in English
The current research on visual poetics unfolded in two moments. In the first one, it started from a practice of representing the urban landscape of São Paulo (through paintings, prints, and photographs) to reflect on possible ways of looking at banality and its textures. In the second moment, taking a critical view on the condition of a contemporary image producer but condensing the previous experience with pictorial practice, it shifted towards a more tangible approach to textures, initiating the creation of a series of sculptures in reclaimed wood that symbolically express the idea of a home.
