Abstract in English
The genealogy of the hacker shows the relationships between apparently opposite ideologies such as those promoted by virus creators and those practiced by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. This kind of ideological ambiguity is transferred to digital media in a production model that deploys playful elements to stimulate profits, turning work into play. In this context, expanding the limits of technology implies the expansion of control mechanisms. We explore this paradox through theories that question the confidence placed in algorithms and artistic practices that impoverish and break pre-determined functionalities. The presented works insert space for thought and doubt in systems based on scientific accuracy. The poetics arise, therefore, in the interruption or deviation of objective functionalities, even if in a momentary way. Finally, we report the practical experiments developed with bots which cross or pile up messages from digital conversations, creating strangeness in routine interactions.
