Esta dissertação visa sobretudo a composição na harpa paraguaia, objetivando torná-la um instrumento disponível para a composição musical. Parte do conhecimento prévio da tradição da música paraguaia no instrumento, e almeja apresentar um repertório novo de técnicas e sonoridades que compositores possam explorar além do uso convencional do instrumento. Fundamentada na ideia da pesquisa artística ter como centro o próprio fazer artístico, propõe uma construção de argumentações baseadas em fatores não-palpáveis em que o referencial pessoal do compositor, as abstrações e insights são próprios experimentos e as comprovações sobre uma ideia. Tem como base técnica de estudos leituras sobre notação musical, composição musical, abordagens filosóficas sobre a arte, sobre cosmogonias, microtonalismo e conhecimentos amplos sobre o instrumento harpa paraguaia e sua contextualização histórica e geográfica.

This dissertation aims mainly at composing on the Paraguayan harp, aiming to make it an instrument available for musical composition. Part of the previous knowledge of the Paraguayan music tradition in the instrument, and aims to present a new repertoire of techniques and sounds that composers can explore beyond the conventional use of the instrument. Based on the idea of artistic research having artistic making as its center, it proposes a construction of arguments based on non-palpable factors in which the composer's personal referential, abstractions and insights are the experiments themselves and the evidence about an idea. It has as its technical base of studies readings on musical notation, musical composition, philosophical approaches to art, cosmogonies, microtonalism and extensive knowledge about the Paraguayan harp instrument and its historical and geographical contextualization.
