Abstract in English
This work reports the creative collaborative process with the composer Sergio Kafejian from my perspective as a performer-researcher. Interaction which resulted in the creation of the piece Rebound, for unaccompanied trumpet. The text also seeks to launch a theoretical look at the practice of collaborative creation by placing within the musicological debate (COOK; EVERIST, 2001; BEARD; GLOAG. 2005) issues that emerged during the creative process. The option for autoethnographic methodological procedures (LÓPEZ-CANO; OPAZO, 2014) enabled the production of artistic, technical and reflective material that in the end, in turn, made it possible to observe the benefits of Collaborative Performance in the continuous musical development of the performer. In addition to the reports, interviews and detailed audio and video recordings of the entire creative process, the research's main products were the video recording of the performance and interviews, in the form of a documentary, referring to three recent collaborative creations, as well as a weighty musical contribution: the creation and performance of a new work for the Brazilian trumpet repertoire.
