O Concertino para clarinete en Sib y orquesta (1967) do compositor cubano Félix Guerrero (Havana 1916-2001) é atualmente a única obra conhecida nesse gênero e formação - concerto em movimento único para clarineta e orquestra sinfônica completa - da literatura musical cubana. No entanto, sua última interpretação pública ocorreu aproximadamente há 40 anos em Cuba e 20 anos em outros países. Durante esta investigação foi constatado que a partitura original da referida obra se encontra desaparecida em Havana, seu lugar de origem. Após contatar o clarinetista cubano Paquito D´Rivera, o qual reside nos Estados Unidos desde os anos 80, conseguiu-se uma cópia da partitura geral e das partes extraídas do original, porém, o referido material apresentava problemas que dificultavam a leitura e interpretação da obra. Apoiados no conceito de FIGUEIREDO de que o texto musical é criado para ser necessariamente executado (FIGUEIREDO, 2017: 44) e cientes da produção limitada de obras latino-americanas para clarineta desse gênero, realizou-se uma edição musical da obra, acreditando contribuir com este trabalho não somente à recuperação da sua partitura senão, principalmente, à sua inserção no repertório clarinetístico interpretado na atualidade.

The Concertino para clarinete en Sib y orquesta (1967) by the Cuban composer Félix Guerrero (Havana 1916-2001) is currently the only known work in that genre and formation - concert in movement only for clarinet and full symphonic orchestra - of Cuban musical literature. However, his last public interpretation occurred approximately 40 years ago in Cuba and 20 years abroad. During this research it was found that the original score of said work is missing. After coming into contact with the Cuban clarinetist Paquito D'Rivera, who lives in the United States since the 80s, a copy of the general score and the dug parts extracted from the original was obtained, but this material presented problems that made it difficult the reading and interpretation of the work. Supported by the concept that "the musical text is created to be necessarily executed" (FIGUEIREDO, 2017: 44) and aware of the limited production of Latin American works for clarinet of that genre, a musical edition of the work was done, believing to contribute with this work not only to the recovery of his score but, mainly, to its insertion in the current clarinetist repertoire.
