Keywords in Portuguese
cenografia
história
teatro

Abstract in English
This research has a survey and proof of the theatrical scenography of Cyro del Nero, from 1956 to 2010. It also points out the other fronts of works traveled through his craft as a scenographer, in the fields of fashion, television, visual and visual arts. Del Nero, besides being an award-winning theatrical set designer, was also a pioneer in the art direction of Brazilian television, creating a logo for broadcasters, visual programming of soap operas and entertainment programs, and authoring the first Brazilian music video. In the last decade of his life, he worked as a teacher at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo, which led him to share his knowledge, acquired by the motivation of intellectual curiosity, in books launched on scenography and fashion history. The research was developed in exhibitions that reproduced part of personal collection, newspapers and books on theater, fashion and television. The main focus is anchored in a record of part of the history of Brazilian theatrical set design.
