The Body in the Scene
Abstract in English
This work provides, at first, reflections on the movements of the body in the scene, especially in dance, from the research conducted with the Grupo Húmus de Pesquisa e Dança, formed by students from the Dance Department of the UFS. We present a conceptual and analytical dialogue about the body, dance, movement and art from the perspective of a choreologic vision, theorized and conceptualized by Rudolf Laban (1879-1958). Throughout the work we perceive the intriguing and instigating complexity of the body, with its emotions, feelings, actions, techniques and history that are dilated and create interfaces that reveal themselves in the construction of the artistic language of dance. To this end, we used resources/stimuli used in the preparation of the dancer, which includes the rescue of affective memories and previous emotions, situated in contemporary dance contexts. In a second moment we dialogue and analyze with the dancers, the result of their compositions in the different choreographic scores, created from the reflections, discussions and debates, on the experiments of the different processes, analyzed from the perspective of choreography, where authors such as: Rudolf Laban, Valerie Preston-Dunlop, Ciane Fernandes, Rosa Hercoles, Maria Knebel, Luiz Fernando Ramos, Sayonara Pereira, among others dialogue with the research. The Stanislavski system was also used. At the end of some chapters the reader will find exercises performed during the research process.
