Abstract in English
This research aims to create a dance system in which dancers and objects choreograph in a codependent way. The main highlight of this study is related to the relationship between objects and dancers from a communicational, aesthetic and historical perspective, and also, from an unused friction between ballroom dancing and contemporary dance studies. Some choreographics proposals were selected as important pieces to be presented and discussed here in terms of how the objects behave in these works. It was found that these works bring a new way of existence to the objects in the scene. The dance artists and groups are: Cia Os Dois de Dança (RJ), Grupo Musicanoar (SP) and solos pieces by Susanne Linke and Reinhild Hoffmann . The pieces of the groups which were selected to compose this thesis dialogue directly and deeply with the way I think and propose the pedagogical way of creating dance in collaboration with each other. I advocate that each body chosen by this research (the different objects, materials and dancers) are part of the composition, they are really acting for the dancing creation. Artistic work in the academic context gives me the opportunity to formulate the concepts of transrelationships and its ideas collectively, and it is related to when and how we interact with objects. The methodology of this research and its procedures comes from experiences urged at the Disciplines (Components): Contemporary Studies in Dance and Improvisation in Dance, with students of Dance's Degree at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). The contribution of this research proposal to the Performing Arts is the result of a unique transit between my artistic and pedagogical activities. It comes from the aim of clarifying the way bodies (objects and dancers) work in reciprocity, in how they work to create mutual relations policies.
