Abstract in English
This research aims to demonstrate the topicality/usefulness of the German writer and dramatist Bertolt Brecht's work (1898-1956), particularly emphasizing 4 theater plays and their female characters [The Mother (1931), The Good Person of Szeehwan (1938-1940), The Caueasian Chalk Cirele (1943-1945) and The Triai of Joan of Are at Rouen, 1431 (1952)]. Furthermore, as Brecht's work is addressed in order to reveal the mechanisms of domination and social reproduction, producing a radical critique of society, we try to identify the ideological mechanisms present in interventions (Lehmann, 2009; Wright, 1989) which, explicitly or in oblique ways, adopt the ideological discourse of "datedness" (and / or related) of theatrical to discard them as supposedly outdated and empty them of their transformative potential.
