A presente tese explora as dimensões abstratas do pensamento intuitivo, científico e artístico a fim de esboçar uma prática integrada do artista-cientista sobre o palco. Como dar forma a um teatro da abstração que garanta o vínculo entre arte e ciência? é a pergunta que mobiliza esta pesquisa. A partir da hipótese de que na passagem do século XIX para o século XX existiu uma mudança paradigmática que afetou as formas de como conceber a realidade, a tese aponta para uma relação epistêmica presente na prática dos cientistas e artistas modernos baseada na abstração. Essa forma de pensamento, prático e teórico, intelectual e sensível, configura um tipo de raciocínio lógico baseado em diagramas que, por meio de pontos e linhas, traça, rascunha e esboça, no papel e na mente, analogias com as quais desenvolvemos hipóteses e conclusões, dando forma a intuição. Sob a lógica diagramática, a pesquisa desenvolve o projeto Figura Humana, primeiro rascunho cênico do Teatro Diagramático, proposição original desta pesquisa que apresenta um caminho epistemológico e metodológico que vincula Arte e Ciência na busca das relações invisíveis presentes na realidade.

This thesis explores the abstract dimensions of intuitive, scientific and artistic thinking in order to outline an integrated practice of the artist-scientist on stage. How to 'shape' a theater of abstraction that guarantees the link between art and science?' It is the question that guides this research. Based on the hypothesis that in the passage from the 19th to the 20th century there was a paradigm shift that affected the ways of conceiving reality, the thesis points to an epistemic relationship present in the practice of modern scientists and artists based on abstraction. This practical and theoretical, intellectual and sensitive, way of thinking guides a type of logical reasoning based on diagrams that, by means of points and lines, traces, sketches and draft, on paper and in the mind, analogies with which we develop hypotheses and conclusions, shaping intuition. Under the diagrammatic logic, the research develops the Figura Humana project, the first scenic draft of the Diagrammatic Theater, an original proposition of this research that presents an epistemological and methodological path that links Art and Science in the search for the invisible relationships present in reality.
