A atuação de atores e atrizes asiático-brasileiros, nesses meios, é examinada sob a perspectiva da fenotipagem, raça, etnicidade, identidade e estereotipagem. Recorreu-se a autores como Stuart Hall (2013), Márcia Janete Espig (2003), Juremir Machado da Silva (2003) e Edward Said (1978) para abordar tais temas. Qual o papel dos atores e atrizes asiático-brasileiros sobre o imaginário sobre eles e por eles?

The purpose of this study is to reflect on the Brazilian imaginary constructed about the yellow population considering the representations of Asians in theater, television and cinema. The role of Asian Brazilian actors and actresses is examined under the perspective of phenotyping, race, ethnicity, identity and stereotyping. Authors such as Stuart Hall (2013), Márcia Janete Espig (2003), Juremir Machado da Silva (2003) and Edward Said (1978) were used to address these themes. What is the role of Asian Brazilian actors and actresses on the imaginary constructed about them and by them?
