A pesquisa investiga a utilidade do Material Fatzer, texto teatral fragmentário escrito por Bertolt Brecht entre 1926 a 1931. Estabelece sua associação à teoria das peças didáticas (Lehrstück) do autor, considerando o texto modelo de ação para auto-instrução daqueles que empreendem um experimento estético a partir do mesmo. À essa pesquisa interessa abordar possíveis campos de aprendizado com o Material a partir de três experimentos/montagens brasileiras empreendidas nos últimos vinte anos por três grupos teatrais: Material Fatzer do Teatro Vila Velha - 2001 (BA), O Que está aqui é o Que Sobrou do Coletivo Bruto - 2012 (SP), Desertores do Coletivo de Teatro Alfenim - 2019 (PB). Assim aborda questões como a expectativa de re-funcionalização do aparelho teatral na perspectiva da busca por um Estado coletivista, a concepção materialista da História, a posição dos trabalhadores do teatro e da organização do grupo de teatro dentro das relações de produção estabelecidas e a pertinência da re-contextualização dos temas tratados no Brasil de hoje. Privilegia o diálogo entre o autor e o filósofo Walter Benjamin e visa constituir material para futuros experimentos e que amplie a possibilidade de acesso ao Material Fatzer, considerado cifrado e inacessível.

The research investigates the usefulness of Material Fatzer, a fragmentary theatrical text written by Bertolt Brecht between 1926 and 1931. It establishes its association with the author's theory of learning plays (Lehrstück), considering the text as a model of action for self-instruction to those who undertake an aesthetic experiment from the same. This research aims to address possible fields of learning with the Material from three Brazilian experiments undertaken in the last twenty years by three theater groups: Material Fatzer from Teatro Vila Velha - 2001 (BA), O Que Está Aqui é o Que Sobrou from Coletivo Bruto - 2012 (SP), Desertores from Coletivo de Teatro de Alfenim - 2019 (PB). Thus it addresses issues such as the expectation of re-functionalization of the theatrical apparatus in the perspective of the search for a collectivist state, the materialist conception of History, the position of theater workers and the organization of the theater group within the established production relations and the pertinence the re-contextualization of the themes treated in Brazil today. It privileges the dialogue between the author and the philosopher Walter Benjamin and aims to constitute material for future as well as the possibility of access to Material Fatzer, be increased which is considered encrypted and inaccessible.
