Este trabalho aborda as transformações que o teatro pode provocar no corpo, no convívio e na visão de mundo de jovens aprisionados (jovens em cumprindo de medida socioeducativa) no Internato Pirituba da Fundação Casa, em São Paulo. A pesquisa teve início em 2005, e a análise abrange o período que se estende de 2005 a 2008. Através de jogos teatrais, dramáticos ou tradicionais, realizados em sala de aula com adolescentes do internato ou em ofi cinas extracurriculares a eles oferecidas, foram desenvolvidos processos de criação de cenas teatrais e de montagens cênicas e algumas destas foram apresentadas dentro e fora da instituição. Também foram realizadas algumas saídas culturais com os adolescentes, as quais se mostraram importantes para a trajetória dos processos teatrais vividos na instituição. Nessa trajetória, foi possível observar modifi cações na postura do corpo desses jovens e nas suas relações.

This work presents the way theater can change the body, the living and world vision of minors confi ned at Internato Pirituba Fundação Casa (a rehabilitation center for juvenile convicts) in São Paulo, Brazil. This research started in 2005, and the analysis comprehends the period between 2005 to 2008. Through drama, improv or tradicional games performed with this teenagers in the classroom or in extra courses offered, process of creation and constructions of scenes were developed and some of them were presented inside and out of the institution. The adolescents were also taken to watch some plays, wich have been important to the pathway of the drama process experienced in the rehabilitation center. On this way, it was possible to observe changes in their body postures and between their relationships as well.
