Keywords in Portuguese

Dramaturgia contemporânea
Novarina
Prática com o texto

Practice with the text
Abstract in English
This research of practical and theoretical scope aims to investigate the pedagogy of the actor and his poetic possibilities of work with the speaking of a text in confrontation with the dramaturgy of Valère Novarina. To this end, the dissertation uses the precepts of this playwright, directed to the actor, from his text Letter to the Actors. In the practical part of the research, excerpts from two of his plays are used: The Flying Workshop and L'Espace Furieux. This dissertation builds a dialogue with Antonio Januzelli's PhD thesis, which deals with the practice of the actor and underpins practical research. There is also a work of translation of a scene from the play L'Espace Furieux, in a game with the actor's practice, in order to explore translation possibilities directly on the scene with the actors or the actor. Thus the research focuses on the actor's game with the text and, ultimately, the boundaries between singing and speaking.
