Abstract in English
The study is about a practical-creative and pedagogical research in Dance within a Brazilian biome: the Northeastern Caatinga of Alto Sertão Sergipano. It starts with direct experience and artistic work in this environment, understanding it as a territory that provokes transmutations in the physical-sensitive-symbolic states of the artist in the scene. Cohabiting in the Caatinga encourages and enhances scenic making crossed by different situations, knowledge, ways of being and living in the environment. The research also interweaves the universe of cangaço lampiônico as a theme for the acts in Dance, revisited in the ways of operating, perceiving, being and acting within the context itself. In the practice of scenic creation, investment is made in creative laboratories as a powerful and unique pedagogical guiding in the compositional processes in Dance. The investigation presents a gang of artistas-cangaceiras, perceiving being an artist as a challenge to oneself, of belonging and recognition of the gang - seen here, as a locus of complicity, overcoming and facing the constant risks in the processes that form them -, assuming frictions, clashes, complexities experienced as paths to academic training in the artistic field. And to embrace the different territories traveled through, the research recognizes ancestral knowledge and the existence of enchanted beings and spiritualities as guides that enchant and point to knowledge in the construction of knowledge.
