Abstract in English
The present work analyzes the way in which the communication processes of the caatingueiros make us see the meanings produced about the conflicts experienced by this population with the arrival of modernizing projects in the caatinga. These meanings were problematized in the context of the verbal language of this population and its main objective was to make sensitive their linguistic expressions, historically ignored. The enunciations and enunciation processes materialized in this thesis make us see that these projects are not sustainable if they are considered from the problematizations of the caatingueiros themselves. For the development of this thesis, I used the methodological procedures of empirical research, adopting traces of some procedures of ethnographic research. The interpretation took place through Discourse Analysis and Bakhtin / Voloshinov's interactionist theory. I tried to demonstrate that the meanings produced about these conflicts are likely to be heard and understood, but this requires different attention. It is necessary to hear them as a manifestation of their own, outside the dominant discourses. The conflicts enunciated by the caatingueiros denounce the way in which the projects are being imposed and make us see, in what they say and how they say, their attempts to intervene, to participate. There is not, a priori, an opposition to these projects, nor a defense of their territoriality, however, they realize that their participation was not foreseen. Among all the conflicts shown, the greatest of them all is the disappearance of the Caatingueiro people and with them a way of existence. By enunciating the conflicts they experienced, the caatingueiro announces the end of his world. In order to postpone the ends, the caatingueiro territory and "the end of the world", this thesis proposed to listen to these people and with them to make a communication.
