O tema em discussão nesta pesquisa são os sistemas de representação de conhecimentos e de informação utilizados para acesso à produção teórica sobre mulheres, numa perspectiva de mudança social. O trabalho parte da seguinte hipótese: que as atuais pautas de luta das organizações e grupos de mulheres poderiam indicar as categorias de temas efetivamente importantes para representar informação sobre mulheres. O problema da pesquisa parte da indagação: como, no âmbito da Ciência da Informação, contribuir para que o conhecimento produzido por e para mulheres não seja perdido e possa ser acessado. Esse percurso, organizado e inscrito de modo adequado, em dispositivos de informação, sejam trazidos para o presente e abram caminhos para a produção de novos conhecimentos. Sabe-se, ainda, que a inscrição de informações em dispositivos requer um sistema de representação de informações sintonizado com a linguagem do campo em estudo. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é propor parâmetros para a construção de Sistemas de Organização do Conhecimento (SOCs) sobre mulheres que reflitam as pautas contemporâneas de luta das organizações e grupos de mulheres. A área da Ciência da Informação tem discutido o tema sob alguns pontos de vista: aspectos éticos na organização do conhecimento, crítica à lógica hierárquica dos sistemas e à abordagem do homem como categoria universal e neutra. Essas abordagens apontam a necessidade de atualização de tesauros e outros SOCS sobre mulheres. A análise de domínio, garantia literária e epistemologia para analisar as relações sociais de sexo presentes nos SOCs. Esta pesquisa propõe a necessidade de ampliação e aprofundamento das questões sobre as mulheres e um método para construir e manter tesauros mais adequados ao domínio em análise. A apresentação do percurso da pesquisa e os resultados obtidos estão organizados em seis seções: começamos com os procedimentos metodológicos para deixar claro para o leitor o que se discute e como foi feito o trabalho. A seção 3 trata do Movimento de Libertação das mulheres e consciência feminista com questões sociológicas, antropológicas e históricas/historiográficas. Nesta seção elaboramos um quadro de definições importantes para a discussão que será realizada. Na seção 4, discutem-se os Sistemas da Organização do Conhecimento - SOCs. São categorizadas a normas de produção, avaliação e uso de SOCs e discutidos os trabalhos que abordam Socs e produção do conhecimento de e sobre mulheres e relações sociais de sexo. Essas seções correspondem ao objetivo específico a, de definição de uma base referencial para um de Sistema de Organização do Conhecimento sobre mulheres. A seção 5 é composta de dados sobre a pesquisa de campo, realizada para responder ao objetivo específico b, que propõe identificar e sistematizar as reivindicações atuais dos movimentos de mulheres por meio de um estudo de caso. Esta seção aborda a trajetória, atuação e reivindicações do Coletivo Mulheres da Luz. A sexta seção apresenta e sistematiza os resultados da pesquisa. Na sétima seção são expostas as considerações finais, a análise crítica do percurso da pesquisa e propostas para a realização de novos estudos sobre o tema.

The topic under discussion in this research is the knowledge and information representation systems used to access theoretical production on women, from a perspective of social change. The worked with the following hypothesis: that the current agendas of women's organizations and groups could indicate the categories of themes that are effectively important for representing information about women. The research problem is based on the question: how, within the scope of Information Science, can we help ensure that the knowledge produced by and for women is not lost and can be accessed? This journey organized and inscribed appropriately in information devices, can be brought into the present and open up paths for the production of new knowledge. It is also known that inscribing information in devices requires an information representation system that is in tune with the language of the field under study. The overall aim of the research is to propose parameters for the construction of Knowledge Organization Systems (SOCs) on women that reflect the contemporary agendas of women's organizations and groups. The field of Information Science has discussed the subject from a number of points of view: ethical aspects in the organization of knowledge, criticism of the hierarchical logic of systems and the approach of man as a universal and neutral category. These approaches point to the need to update thesauruses and other SOCS on women. Domain analysis, literary collateral and epistemology to analyze the social relations of sex present in SOCs. This research proposes the need to broaden and deepen questions about women and a method for building and maintaining thesauruses that are more appropriate to the domain under analysis. The presentation of the course of the research and the results obtained are organized into six sections: we begin with the methodological procedures to make it clear to the reader what is being discussed and how the work was carried out. Section 2 deals with the Women's Liberation Movement and feminist consciousness with sociological, anthropological and historical/historiographical issues. In this section we draw up a framework of definitions that are important for the discussion that will take place. Section 3 discusses Systems of Knowledge Organization - SOCs. The standards for the production, evaluation and use of SOCs are categorized and the works that address SOCs and the production of knowledge by and about women and social relations of sex are discussed. These sections correspond to specific objective a, the definition of a reference base for a Knowledge Organization System on women. Section 4 is made up of data on the field research carried out to answer specific objective b, which proposes identifying and systematizing the current demands of women's movements through a case study. This section looks at the trajectory, activities and demands of the Women of Light Collective. The fifth section presents and systematizes the results of the research. The sixth section presents the final considerations, a critical analysis of the research and proposals for further studies on the subject.
