Este estudo investiga a dimensão ético-epistemológica da informação na organização do conhecimento, cujo argumento é a materialidade social da informação em rede, mais especificamente na Infosfera. Nossa lente estará apontada para os processos de documentação, os sistemas de informação, as epistemologias da CI e seus conceitos, passando pelas regulações normativas. Observamos haver um impacto ético das realizações da ciência representado pela presença da materialidade social da informação que a pesquisa científica produz em benefício da sociedade. A materialidade social da Informação se encontra presente no campo da Ética da informação, e sobre este tema encontramos conceituação a partir de Rafael Capurro e Luciano Floridi. A fim de compreender os caminhos que perfazem a ética da informação, analisaremos o discurso da CI no Brasil a partir das cinco edições do Congresso da ISKO Brasil. Na contraforça destes fenômenos informacionais está a materialidade antissocial da informação que institucionaliza processos documentais carregados de danos à sociedade. Estes conhecimentos entrecruzados na ética da informação, na materialidade social da informação recortadas nas epistemologias, oferecem à organização do conhecimento uma base para a avaliação racional da efetividade relativa dos enunciados científicos da comunidade científica ISKO Brasil. A metodologia está contextualizada na análise qualitativa desde o referencial teórico à amostra que está representada na ISKO Brasil. A análise qualitativa se encontra presente na área das humanidades, para esta pesquisa partimos de uma reflexão ético-filosófica-metodológica da ética da informação em seus caminhos epistêmicos no campo da organização do conhecimento, situada nos limites da Infosfera. Neste trabalho os estudos amostrais da ISKO Brasil nas dimensões epistemológica, aplicada, política e social da organização do conhecimento foram escolhidos com foco nas evidências mais ilustrativas da Ética da informação nas epistemologias disseminadas. Foram destacadas as categorias em que ética e epistemologia se mostraram presentes na materialidade de seus enunciados e não apenas em suas terminologias, enfatizando as instituições e os pesquisadores que se destacam nos quadros em que nomeamos como: fertilização cruzada de ideias. Deste arranjo de ideações, práticas e conceitualidades, obtivemos como resultado novas proposições que deslocam a Ética de estudos tangenciais para a abordagem principal nos estudos em organização do conhecimento. Nas conclusões, evidenciam-se as relações científicas e de solidariedade que se estabelecem a partir dos debates nas comunidades científicas até se chegar ao conjunto da sociedade. Chegado esse momento finalístico, o que temos em mente como abstração mais profunda é a materialidade social da informação e sua inteira dependência da condução ética e epistemológica da Ciência da Informação. Lançamos como horizonte para novas abordagens, o olhar pelo barômetro qualitativo em que se identifica a presença da ética da informação nas pesquisas científicas, na construção de sistemas de organização do conhecimento: Se há reconhecimento pela comunidade a respeito da utilidade da atividade científica realizada, há presença de materialidade social da informação; o que outrora era apenas um documento se traduz no trato social da reverberação do conhecimento; portanto, temos que aferir se tratar de uma ciência com finalidade no bem social. Existindo a presença do regramento ético do bem-estar comum a todos, também existe e vigora materialidade pró-social da informação.

This study investigates an ethical-epistemological dimension of information in the organization of knowledge, whose argument is the social materiality of networked information, more specifically in the Infosphere. Our lens will be aimed at document processes, information systems, IC epistemologies and its concepts, passing through normative regulations. We observe that there is an ethical impact of the achievements of science represented by the presence of the social materiality of the information that research produces for the benefit of society. The social materiality of Information is present in the field of Information Ethics, and on this topic we find conceptualization from Rafael Capurro and Luciano Floridi. In order to understand the paths that make up the ethics of information, we analyze the discourse of CI in Brazil from the five editions of the ISKO Brazil Congress. In the counterforce of these informational phenomena is the antisocial materiality of the information that institutionalizes documental processes loaded with harm to society. This knowledge, intertwined in information ethics, in the social materiality of information cut into epistemologies, provide the organization of knowledge with a basis for the rational evaluation of the relative effectiveness of scientific statements from the ISKO Brazil scientific community. The methodology is contextualized in the qualitative analysis from the theoretical framework to the sample that is represented at ISKO Brasil. Qualitative analysis is present in the area of the humanities, for this research we start from an ethical-philosophical-methodological reflection on the ethics of information in its epistemic paths in the field of knowledge organization, located within the limits of the Infosphere. In this work, ISKO Brazil's sample studies in the epistemological, applied, political and social dimensions of the organization of knowledge were chosen with a focus on the most illustrative evidence of the Ethics of Information in disseminated epistemologies. The categories in which ethics and epistemology were shown to be present in the materiality of their statements and not just in their terminology were highlighted, emphasizing the institutions and researchers that stand out in the frameworks we named as: cross-fertilization of ideas. From this arrangement of ideations, practices and conceptualities, we obtained as a result new propositions that shift Ethics from tangential studies to the main approach in studies on knowledge organization. The conclusions show the scientific and solidarity relations that are established from the debates in the scientific communities until reaching society as a whole. Once this final moment has arrived, what we have in mind as a deeper abstraction is the social materiality of information and its entire dependence on the ethical and epistemological conduct of Information Science. We launch as a horizon for new approaches, the look through the qualitative barometer in which the presence of information ethics in scientific research is identified, in the construction of knowledge organization systems: If there is recognition by the community regarding the usefulness of the scientific activity carried out, there is presence of social materiality of information; what was once just a document is translated into the social treatment of the reverberation of knowledge; therefore, we have to assess whether it is a science with a purpose for the social good. With the presence of the ethical rule of thumb for the common well-being of all, there is also a pro-social materiality of information.
