Abstract in English
This study aims to analyze the relationship between the insurgent cultural action and the experience of Cultural Collectives that make use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as ways of visibility, resistance, and resignification of their narratives and subjectivities. The perspective guiding the paper is the construction of a cultural insurgency which through the collective and collaborative mobilization of available resources is able to find potential to develop tools capable of altering the dynamics of local and global socio-cultural hegemonies. The methodology starts from the research-action and aims to follow the processes and actions of the cultural collectives analyzed through field experiences, to verify the possible challenges and strategies for improvement of practices, as well as their unfolding in different territories. As part of the research-action methodology and presentation of research results, an audiovisual document representing a dialogical perspective on the uses of digital culture, as well as the shared production of traditional academic knowledge, was also produced. In the construction of this paper, the cultural insurgencies have their actions contextualized from two perspectives that act independently but are simultaneously complementary: in-between places and strangeness work in loco as a way of perceiving the way hegemonic and counter-hegemonic relations conflict and unfold.
