Title in Portuguese
Criação do "PodcastAnatomy-FOB/USP" como ferramenta no ensino remoto
Keywords in Portuguese
Anatomia digital
Ensino de anatomia
Odontologia

Abstract in English
Teaching has made use of numerous assistive technologies, which were particularly evident during the period of social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the goal of this study was to create a podcast that would help address the emergency measures, mitigate the learning deficit in the university community, and provide a solid foundation for anatomy teaching to meet future needs. The work consisted of 4 phases: 1°- elaboration of the didactic material through the recording of scripts, as well as training in vocal expression; 2°- creation of the media content in podcast format, with prior recording of test audios using the Sound Forge® software; 3°- dissemination of the podcasts on Spotify® with public availability of the content and analysis of applicability; 36 dental (FOB /USP), speech therapy and medical students, divided into the conventional group (CG) and the podcast group (PG), rated different topics of anatomy; and 4°- Statistical analysis comparing the average scores of the two groups. The results showed a positive trend and higher satisfaction for the PG, indicating good acceptance. It can be concluded that anatomy teaching is enriched by the use of podcasts as a complementary method. Podcasts are a good option for students and are well accepted by professors due to their easy access and the quality of the material presented.
