Abstract in English
The contemporary spaces of environments intended for the reception of health care services point to new concepts based on the evolution of hospital architecture with the adversities that tend to arise over the years. Currently, new construction systems used for buildings in clinical and hospital environments are introduced in several countries, aiming to reduce costs, execution time, functionality, sustainability and quality. In this sense, projects and constructions of health facilities, where functionality is a key factor, modular architecture is the most appropriate technology and, among the various construction systems that make up the portfolio of modular architecture, there is the maritime container. Although the use of containers in civil construction began in the 80s of the last century and currently has a large residential and commercial application, its use in health establishments grows timidly. Given the assumption, this study proposed the reuse of maritime containers as a constructive alternative in the production of dental, speech-language and medical health establishments, enabling the development of academic, preventive, educational and health rehabilitative activities. Through the reflections, evidence was raised about the importance and pertinence of architecture in relation to health-related sectors, through a literary review regarding hospital architecture; modular architecture; use of containers in civil construction; sustainability; study of construction laws and examples of container buildings already implemented in hospital, clinical, outpatient and academic sectors. Thus, through an architectural project developed by specific software, innovative and sustainable prototypes of three clinical environments adapted in containers were obtained, where it was observed, in practice, the application of the alternative constructive method for the elaboration of dental, speech therapy and medical clinical environments.
