Within the hearing health context, the newborn hearing screening is the first step to structure an auditory health program that allows the identification, diagnosis and the hearing loss intervention in the first months of life. The aim of this study was to analyze the Child Hearing care Network, in the newborn hearing screening stages and audiological diagnosis developed in the (Regional Health Department) DRS VI region. The study was developed in stages, considering as a first step, the analysis in the perspective from institutions responsible for newborn hearing screening and the municipal manager, for this purpose was used an online questionnaire sent to maternity hospitals and municipal secretariats of health, belonging to DRS VI. In the second stage, the scenario was analyzed from the perspective of two hearing health reference services through the CROSS system tool and analysis of the demand profile in one of the hearing health services, from August 2017 to December 2018. With the obtained information, it was observed that both maternity hospitals and municipal secretariats of health present actions and seek strategies to enable the early diagnosis of children aged 0 to 3 years old. Regarding the hearing health services, it was found that they presented different characteristics regarding the profile of the children referred, since one of them receives, exclusively, children referenced from maternities and the other, children referred from general health services. In relation to specific analysis of one of the services, it was observed that the children referred as a consequence of failure in the hearing screening, was obtained the access, mostly (61%), to the process of audiological diagnosis before three months aged. Similarly, more than half (67%) of the children with hearing loss completed the audiological diagnosis by the age of three months. It was concluded that there is an established flow between maternity hospital and the hearing health reference service. However, there are still actions that must be restructured in order for the access is universal, with integrality and equity.
