O Tratamento Fora do Domicílio (TFD), que é um instrumento legal, instituído pelo Ministério da Saúde por meio da Portaria n° 055 de 24 de fevereiro de 1999. O objetivo da pesquisa é identificar na literatura científica elementos para a elaboração de um manual de apoio para decisão do Tratamento Fora de Domicílio, para um município do Sudoeste de Minas Gerais. Foi realizada uma revisão de escopo a partir da metodologia do Instituto Joanna Briggs, com utilização da extensão do checklist PRISMA-ScR, seguintes fontes de informação: Pubmed, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde - BVS, Lilacs, CINAHL, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, Scielo, CAPES e Google Acadêmico. Foram considerados estudos que responderam à pergunta de pesquisa, apresentados disponíveis na íntegra, publicados em português ou outros idiomas, em periódicos nacionais e internacionais. A busca inicial das evidências científicas resultou em 324.730 registros nas bases de dados e 2.527 registros localizados em outras fontes dos diferentes sitios da internet incluindo o Google Acadêmico e o Portal de Periódicos e de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES. Após a remoção dos registros duplicados (2.369), procedeu-se a leitura do título e resumo dos 322.631 e foram excluídos 322.615 registros, uma vez que não correspondiam diretamente à temática do TFD nem à pergunta formulada para a presente revisão. O mesmo processo se deu nas buscas em outros sitios da Web. Foram incluídos 10 estudos, selecionados em Bases de Dados ou sitios da Web, no período de 2003 a 2020, além de 39 outros materiais institucionais das Secretarias de Estado da Saúde e Secretarias Municipais de Saúde do Brasil. Este estudo traz importantes recomendações para a elaboração de uma instrução normativa municipal. Conclui-se que o um Manual do TFD é um instrumento importante para a Comissão do TFD, pois, por meio deste é possível analisar os laudos com imparcialidade, humanidade e dignidade, sem distinção de qualquer natureza, permitindo o alinhamento com a premissa da saúde como direito.

The Out-of-Home Treatment (TFD), which is a legal instrument, established by the Ministry of Health through Ordinance No 055 of February 24, 1999. The objective of the research is to identify in the scientific literature elements for the elaboration of a support manual for the decision of the Out-of-Home Treatment for a municipality in the Southwest of Minas Gerais. A scoping review was carried out using the methodology of the Joanna Briggs Institute, using the PRISMA-ScR checklist extension, the following information sources: Pubmed, Virtual Health Library - VHL, Lilacs, CINAHL, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, Scielo, CAPES and Google Scholar. We considered studies that answered the research question, presented available in full, published in Portuguese or other languages, in national and international journals. The initial search for scientific evidence resulted in 324,730 records in the databases and 2,527 records located in other sources of the different websites including Google Scholar and the Portal of Periodicals and Theses and Dissertations of CAPES. After removing duplicate records (2,369), the title and abstract of 322,631 were read and 322,615 records were excluded, as they did not correspond directly to the theme of PDT or to the question formulated for this review. The same process took place in the searches on other websites. Ten studies were included, selected from databases or websites, from 2003 to 2020, in addition to 39 other institutional materials from the State Health Secretariats and Municipal Health Secretariats of Brazil. This study brings important recommendations for the elaboration of a municipal normative instruction. It is concluded that a PDT Manual is an important tool for the PDT Commission, as it is possible to analyze the reports with impartiality, humanity, and dignity, without distinction of any kind, allowing alignment with the premise of health as a right.
