O ambiental hospitalar tem desempenhado um papel influente na transmissão de microrganismos causadores das infecções relacionadas a assistência à saúde, principalmente por intermédio da contaminação das mãos dos profissionais de saúde e do ambiente, sugerindo falhas nos processos de limpeza e desinfecção. Assim, a melhoria dos processos de limpeza e desinfecção hospitalar é um dos componentes incluídos em um conjunto de medidas de controle. O objetivo desse estudo foi desenvolver um protótipo de aplicativo para dispositivos móveis sobre limpeza e desinfecção de superfícies como ferramenta de apoio educacional a formação continuada dos colaboradores dos serviços de limpeza hospitalar. Trata-se de uma pesquisa aplicada do tipo exploratória-descritiva e com abordagem quantitativa. A construção foi apoiada no Design Instrucional Contextualizado, dividido em fases e construção. A primeira fase consistiu no levantamento das necessidades educacionais e a caracterização dos usuários do aplicativo, por meio da aplicação de questionários semiestruturados. Fizeram parte deste estudo 12 gestores e 143 colaboradores da equipe de limpeza hospitalar de duas instituições de saúde, uma privada e outra pública, sendo esta composta por funcionários efetivos e terceirizados. A segunda fase abrangeu o planejamento do aplicativo e a terceira, o desenvolvimento do protótipo utilizando o Photoshop para o desenho das telas. Os resultados da etapa de levantamento das necessidades evidenciaram um predomínio do sexo feminino, média de idade de 45 anos e uma baixa escolaridade. As questões sobre satisfação com o trabalho, satisfação com os treinamentos, conhecimentos básicos e desempenho obtiveram uma avaliação positiva por parte dos colaboradores, no entanto algumas situações foram percebidas como de risco a segurança ao paciente e a saúde do trabalhador. Já as questões envolvendo incentivos motivacionais tiveram as pontuações mais baixas. A partir desse levantamento foi possível identificar que há uma necessidade de uma estratégia educacional adicional aos programas de educação já existentes nas instituições, sendo necessário e plausível a progressão do aplicativo como ferramenta de apoio ao ensino desses colaboradores. Com isso, criou-se um protótipo de aplicativo abordando temáticas que se enquadram nas necessidades observadas.

The hospital environment has played an important role in the transmission of microorganisms that cause infections related to health care, mainly through the contamination of the hands of health professionals and the environment, suggesting flaws in the cleaning and disinfection processes. Thus, improvement of hospital cleaning and disinfection processes is one of the components included in a set of control measures. The objective of this study was to develop a prototype application for mobile devices on cleaning and disinfection of surfaces as a tool for educational support for the continuing training of employees of hospital cleaning services. It is an applied research of the exploratory-descriptive type and with quantitative approach. The construction was supported in the Contextualized Instructional Design, divided into phases and construction. The first phase consisted of the survey of educational needs and the characterization of the users of the application, through the application of semi-structured questionnaires. This study included 12 managers and 143 employees of the hospital cleaning crew of two health institutions, private and public other, the latter being composed of effective and outsourced employees. The second phase covered the planning of the application and the third, the development of the prototype using Photoshop for drawing the screens. The results of the needs assessment stage showed a predominance of females, mean age of 45 years and low schooling. The questions about job and training satisfaction, basic knowledge and performance obtained a positive evaluation by the employees, however some situations were perceived as a risk to patient safety and worker health. As for the issues involving motivational incentives had the lowest scores. From this survey it was possible to identify that there is a need for an additional educational strategy to the education programs already existing in the institutions, being necessary and plausible the progression of the application as a tool to support the teaching of these collaborators. With this, an application prototype was created, addressing themes that fit the observed needs.
