A presente pesquisa caracteriza-se como um estudo descritivo exploratório, realizado no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - CAPS "Maria Boneca" em Uberaba MG e tem por objetivo refletir a respeito de como se dá a vida social dos usuários do referido serviço tendo em vista a busca pela inclusão social dos mesmos. Este estudo tem como pressuposto que o CAPS influencia positivamente no processo de reabilitação psicossocial e, consequentemente, na inserção social das pessoas em sofrimento psíquico / usuários de seus serviços. A pesquisa foi realizada com (13) usuários do CAPS, sendo todos participantes enquadrados no regime não intensivo de tratamento, mas que passaram pelos regimes intensivo e semi intensivo. Esse critério procurou selecionar sujeitos que tenham sido acompanhados pelo CAPS por um maior período de tempo. Os participantes passaram por entrevista não estruturada, sendo interrogados a respeito de suas vidas no âmbito domiciliar, familiar e social. As informações coletadas foram organizadas e analisadas segundo o método da análise de conteúdo, na vertente da análise temática. A discussão apoiou se sobre os conceitos da reabilitação psicossocial, colocados por Saraceno e sobre o conceito de desinstitucionalização, presente na influência da psiquiatria democrática italiana. Do processo de análise e do referencial teórico utilizado neste estudo, emergiram (3) três pré-categorias principais, sendo a primeira subjetividade no habitar, a segunda, Trocas Materiais, Contratos Sociais e a terceira, Trocas Afetivas: inclusão e exclusão. Da análise das informações coletadas emergiram as conquistas e as dificuldades ainda enfrentadas pelos usuários do CAPS no caminho em busca da reabilitação psicossocial. O lar apareceu como melhor opção frente à vida no cárcere manicomial, a intimidade do lar também se mostrou um espaço para o exercício da subjetividade e convivência familiar. No tocante às trocas materiais, as possibilidades de trabalho permanecem distantes da realidade dos participantes, surgindo na discussão, formas alternativas de inserção no mercado de trabalho e o avanço dos participantes na capacidade de realizarem trocas materiais por meio de outras fontes de renda. A rede social formada com as pessoas de fora da família se mostrou empobrecida em comparação com os vínculos familiares. O CAPS surge também como espaço alternativo na facilitação das trocas afetivas dentro e fora da família. Apesar das dificuldades ainda presentes, diversos aspectos essenciais à inserção social e busca pela cidadania foram evidenciados como conquistas dos participantes da pesquisa.

This research is characterized as an exploratory descriptive study, conducted at the Psychosocial Community Center - CAPS "Maria Boneca" in Uberaba MG and aims to reflect on how is the social life of the users of that service and their pursuit of social inclusion. This study assumes that the CAPS has a positive influence in the process of psychosocial rehabilitation and, consequently, social inclusion of people in psychological distress, users of its services. The survey was conducted with (13) thirteen users of the center, all of them framed in non-intensive treatment scheme, but that had passed through the intensive and semi-intensive systems. This criterion tried to select subjects who were followed by CAPS for a longer period of time. The subjects were submitted to a non-structured interview, being asked about their lives in home environment, family and society. The data were organized and analyzed by the method of content analysis, on thematic analysis strand. The discussion is supported on the concepts of psychosocial rehabilitation, placed by Saraceno and the concept of deinstitutionalization, present in the influence of the Italian democratic psychiatry. (3) Three main pre-categories emerged from the analysis process, being: the first, Subjectivity in the Dwelling; the second, Material Exchanges - Social Contracts and the third, Affective Exchanges - inclusion and exclusion. From the information collected, emerged the achievements and difficulties still faced by users of CAPS in pursuit of psychosocial rehabilitation. The home appeared as the best option facing life in the prison of a psychiatric ward, the intimacy of the home was also a room for the exercise of subjectivity and family life. With regard to material exchanges, employment opportunities remain distant from the reality of the subjects, emerging in the discussion, alternative forms of labor market insertion and the progress of the subjects, in the ability to perform material exchanges through other sources of income. The social network formed with people outside the family proved to be impoverished in comparison to family ties. The CAPS has also emerged as an alternative space in the facilitation of emotional exchanges within and outside the family. Despite the difficulties still present, several essential aspects to the pursuit of social inclusion and citizenship were seen as achievements of the subjects of this research.
