Nesta tese, relaciona-se o fenômeno da censura e a questão da legitimidade jurídico-política. A partir do teatro de Nelson Rodrigues, notadamente da peça intitulada Perdoa-me por me traíres, escrita na década de 1950, e do respectivo processo de censura transcorrido no estado de São Paulo em 1957, o qual culminou na proibição de sua exibição, reflete-se sobre como o fenômeno da censura enseja problematizações acerca da legitimidade do direito. A pragmática jurídica de Ferraz Júnior está na base dessas reflexões, as quais podem ser proveitosas à visualização de como se estabelece a relação entre censura e legitimidade do direito.

In this thesis, the phenomenon of censorship is associated to the issue of the legal-political legitimacy. From the theater of Nelson Rodrigues, notably the play titled Perdoa-me por me traíres (Forgive me for your betrayal), written in the 1950s, and the respective censorship process that took place in the state of São Paulo in 1957, which concluded with a ban of the exhibition of the play, it reflects on how the phenomenon of censorship gives rise to problematizations about the legitimacy of law. Ferraz Júniors legal pragmatics is the basis of these reflections, which can be useful for viewing how the relationship between censorship and the legal-political legitimacy is established.
