Abstract in English
The present master's degree dissertation deals with the new neuroscientific developments on freedom. From BENJAMIN LIBET's studies, a new paradigm on the study of the arbitrary book was established, since his research indicates that every conscious choice would have an unconscious process that precedes it. In this context, new and diverse studies have been carried out to confirm or deny the existence of free will. Faced with this situation, philosophers and jurists began to analyze the possible repercussions of this new knowledge in the human sciences, given that they are based on the idea of freedom.
