Segurança alimentar

Abstract in English
The realization of human rights also occurs through the guarantee of health, provided by an adequate environment, that affirms the protection of fishing, an essential element for food security. The link between international environmental law and human rights points to rules relating to the protection of fisheries and the consequent fulfillment of human rights relating to food safety. In view of the transboundary nature of the environment, the environmental legal regulation of maritime spaces combines national and international systems, which may be global or regional or even bilateral. The international environmental protection standards are related to those of human rights, as well instruments related to the protection of fisheries are connected to those that guarantee the fight against hunger. The system of treaties on human rights and international environmental law, as well as decisions handed down by international bodies and court decisions relating to fisheries protection and human rights, as a means of promoting food security.
