Abstract in English
Concerning the reusing sources that generate wood and wood suppliers, the research seeks to continue the master's degree proposal, which consisted in the construction of a Prototype of Coatings with Homogeneous wood particleboard (PPHM), on a real scale, for the analysis of new by-products of reforestation wood waste. Considering the technical feasibility of the panel applied as a coating, we sought to analyze the behavior and efficiency of the panel as a tile. It is noteworthy that, in the tile manufacturing process, the castor oil-based polyurethane resin was used as an adhesive. Physical-mechanical tests were performed, analyzing the thermal performance of the tile, including the absorbance. Qualitative tests were also made after the weathering of tiles. The production take place at laboratory LaMEM (SET/EESC/USP). The results obtained confirmed the viability of the use of PPHM tiles in roofing market and in civil construction segment.
