Uma forma para se obter vantagem competitiva é gerenciar de forma eficaz a Cadeia de Suprimentos (SC, do original Supply Chain) que tem como objetivo a maximização da oferta de produto ou serviço ao cliente final e minimização de todos os custos e ativos incorridos para atender à solicitação do cliente. Diante deste cenário, diversas empresas estão passando por transformações em suas respectivas SC e em seus métodos e sistemas de planejamento. Uma transformação identificada é a Cadeia de Suprimentos Dirigida pela Demanda (DDSC, do original Demand Driven Supply Chain); esta se caracteriza por ter o consumidor final considerado como parte integrante. Outra transformação é a implementação do novo método de planejamento Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP), que reformula a lógica do Material Requirement Planning (MRP) e agrega elementos do Distribuition Resource Planning (DRP), Lean, Six Sigma e Teoria da Restrições (TOC). Tudo isso, alinhado com a existente lacuna de pesquisa frente à escassez de literatura sobre as etapas necessárias para implementar o DDMRP com sucesso, o presente projeto de pesquisa tem como objetivo desenvolver a fundamentação teórica relacionada aos principais temas de pesquisa por meio de uma Revisão Bibliográfica Sistemática (RBS) e um estudo de caso longitudinal que detalhe adequações, análises e justificativas realizadas por uma empresa brasileira para obter recomendações de especialistas para uma implementação bem sucedida do DDMRP. Ao longo do estudo de caso foram identificadas 11 adequações, 7 análises feitas e, ao final do trabalho geradas 5 recomendações para implementação do DDMRP visando contribuir academicamente para o entendimento das etapas necessárias para implementação e padronização do DDMRP.

One way to obtain a competitive advantage is effectively managing the supply chain (SC) that aims to maximize the product or service offering to the final customer and minimize all incurred costs in order to fulfill the customer request. Before this scenario, several companies are going through transformations in their respective SC and in their methods and planning systems. A detected transformation is the creation of a demand driven supply chain (DDSC), which is characterized as conceptual constructs in which the final customer is considered an integral part. Another transformation is the implementation of the new planning method known as Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) that reformulates the logic of the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and add elements to Distribution Resource Planning (DRP), Lean, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints (TOC). All this, in line with the existing research gap in the face of the scarcity of literature on the steps necessary to successfully implement the DDMRP, the present research project aims to develop the theoretical foundation related to the main research topics through a Bibliographic Review Systematics (RBS) and a longitudinal case study that details adjustments, analyzes and justifications carried out by a Brazilian company to obtain expert recommendations for a successful implementation of the DDMRP. Throughout the case study, 11 adjustments and 7 analyzes were identified and, at the end of the work, 5 recommendations for the implementation of the DDMRP were generated, aiming to contribute academically to the understanding of the necessary steps for the implementation and standardization of the DDMRP.
