Keywords in Portuguese
Envolvimento do usuário
Processo de desenvolvimento de produto
Produtos para saúde
Usabilidade

Abstract in English
Various laws and regulations are practiced in the health product development industry in order to ensure quality and safety to the patient. The Brazilian legislation, ABNT NBR 62366, provides guides on how to implement and execute the usability engineering process in order to obtain safety in health products. Both the Brazilian standard, as well as international regulations and other reference models of researchers, list a set of methods that companies can carry out as a way of driving user involvement. However, information is not presented to help companies select the most suitable users for each method. The focus of this research, in this way, is on the analysis of the activities that the users can carry out in the distinct phases of the development of the health product and, with that, to identify the characteristics of the most appropriate users to be involved. The set of activities that the users can carry out during the product development, in this research, was denimonou as a task of the users. Therefore, this research sought to solve the following central question of the research: "what is the relationship between the characteristics of users and the tasks that can be performed during their involvement in the development of the product for health?". Using the Brazilian standard and case studies in the literature as a basis, this research concludes that there are more appropriate characteristics than others to perform certain tasks. As a primary result, a framework of tasks and features is presented to assist companies in driving user engagement in the development of medical products.
