A construção civil brasileira, em particular o subsetor de edificiações, está passando por mudanças paradigmáticas em busa da competitividade. Um Sistema de Administração de Produção utilizado no setor metalemecânico, embasado nas estratégias damanufatura e aplicado a construção civil, permite que o setor torne-se mais competitivo. O plano do processo Produtivo, parte do Sistema de Adminsitração de Produção para empresas de pequeno e médio porte de construção civil (SAP-C), criapadrões de competitividade para o subsetor de edificações, pois desenvolve-se em relação às vantagens competitivas: custo, qualidade, flexibilidade, confiabilidade e gestão de suprimentos

Abstract in English
The Civil Engineering works sector in Brazil, particularly the building construction subsector has been undergoing paradigmatical changes in its search for competitivy. A production administration system used in the metalmechanic sector, based on manufacture strategies and applied to the construction business makes it possible for the sector to beco me more competitive. The productive process plan, which is part of the production administration system for small and medium construction enterprises, establishes competitivity standards for the construction subsector, as it grows in relation to the competitive advantages: cost, quality, flexibility, reliability and management of supplies.
