Coeficientes de perda de carga localizada calculados para escoamento permanente têm sido largamente utilizados nos cálculos para perdas de carga em escoamento não permanente. Sabe-se, entretanto, que ocorrem desvios entre os dois tipos de escoamento permanente e não permanente e que estes podem ser considerados proporcionais ao número de aceleração. Com o objetivo de determinar o coeficiente de proporcionalidade co, que relaciona o desvio entre o coeficiente de perda de carga localizada no escoamento não permanente Ku e o coeficiente de perda no escoamento permanente K9 com o número de aceleração, foram realizados experimentos usando escoamento não permanente acelerado ou desacelerado e unidirecional através de uma contração brusca.

Abstract in English
The local head loss coefficients calculated to steady flow have been largely utilized for the calculations for head loss in the unsteady flow. It known, meantime , that occur devious between the two types the steady flow andun steady f low and that this may be considered proportional to the acceleration number. With the objective to determine the coefficient of proportionality C0 that relate this devious between the local head loss coefficient in the unsteady flow Ku and the local head loss coefficient in the steady flow K8 with the acceleration accelerated numbér, were realised experiments using unsteady flow or desaccelerated and unidireccional through of the sudden contraction.
