Abstract in English
Fe-Al-Si system alloys were prepared with about 5.5wt.% Al and 2 wt.% Si. To this alloy system it was added 1.O wt.% Nb, three different amount of Mo for a series and three different amount of W for another series. For one of the series it was obtainned alloys containing 3,5 and 7 wt.% Mo and for another it was obtainned alloys containing 3, 5 and 7 wt% W. The alloys were melted in an induction-heated vacuum furnace and spread in ingots. Afterward it was done a 1250ºC forging and a heat treatment. In the heat treatment the alloys remained in an electric-arc furnace at 850ºC temperature for 8 hours. After that the furnace was turned off and it was waited until it reached 600ºC. Those alloys were put in air cooling. The chemical compositions have presented few differences to the proposed initial conditions. Both the alloys with W and those with W have presented a high formation of precipitate containing superior amount of Mo and W in relation to the matrix. The hardness values for both alloys with Mo and with W were not elevated. In the tensile test at room temperature all the alloys presented low ductility and in the tensile test at 850ºC temperature all the alloys presented satisfactory yields point. In the mass win oxidation test, out of the alloy with 7 wt.% Mo the alloys of two series presented aboat the same oxidation resistance. To the electrical resistivity test in relation to the temperature, the alloys presented elevated electrical resistivity final value; however, the variation of these resistivities with the temperature were not satisfactory for any of the two alloys series.
