Keywords in Portuguese
Câncer de testículo
Carcinoma de células renais
Protocolo de seguimento

Abstract in English
The Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (HC-FMRP) acts as a specialized reference center in the treatment of patients diagnosed with urological neoplasms, such as renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and testicular cancer. In addition to the initial treatment offered to patients, it is necessary to follow them up with outpatient consultations, laboratory and imaging tests. As a form of regularization and standardization of conduct, the use of outpatient follow-up protocols aims, in addition to a more uniform and cohesive management for patients, the reduction of excessive examinations, conferring less risk to patients, as well as the optimization of resources to the institution. This work aims to develop protocols for the follow-up of patients operated on for kidney and testicular tumors, adapted to the needs and reality of the Brazilian population and the HC-FMRP. For the construction of the protocols, we reviewed the main guidelines of international societies (American Urological Association, European Association of Urology; National Comprehensive Cancer Network) and the Brazilian Society of Urology. Their divergences and agreements were analyzed for the construction of the HC-FMRP protocols. The elaborated protocols will be implemented in the routines of the hospital's Uro-oncology outpatient clinics, in addition to being made available for public consultation.
