Mindfulness training can reconfigure the perception of health leaders in relation to their way of interpreting and reacting to situations, strengthening communication and resilience, and reducing burnout. Objective: to assess the impact of mindfulness-based training on individual mindfulness and engagement in the work of health leaders. Method: Experimental historical control study with a sample of 21 professionals in 6 sessions of the "Organizational Mindfulness" Program and questionnaires 30 days before (waiting list), pre and post intervention. Quantitative data were analyzed by paired sample test. Results: The training significantly increased the perception of the level of Mindfulness (p=0.001) and the perception of engagement at work (p=0.001) in all sub-dimensions: vigor (p=0.004), dedication (p=0.002) and absorption (p=0.035). In the qualitative assessment, participants had lower emotional reactivity and better resilience and communication.
