Os pacientes acometidos pela doença metastática comumente possuem disfunções que envolvem vários sistemas do organismo humano, podendo ser submetidos a diversos tratamentos como quimioterapia e/ou radioterapia. Assim a elaboração de um questionário específico para compreender o impacto dos tumores metastáticos na qualidade destes pacientes é fundamental, permitindo um melhor acompanhamento desta população. Por este motivo o questionário Spine Oncologic Study Group Oncologic Questionnarie versão 2.0 (SOSG-OQ 2.0) foi elaborado. No entanto, não há ainda uma versão deste questionário para língua português, sendo assim, o objetivo do trabalho é realizar tradução para uma versão em português do SOSG-OQ 2.0, culturalmente adaptada para a população brasileira que viabilizará a aplicação em pacientes do território nacional e permitirá, por parte dos pesquisadores brasileiros, a utilização de um questionário que tende, estar em voga na literatura científica. Pesquisa básica, não randomizada, não comparativa. As etapas de tradução foram realizadas conforme proposto por Beaton e colaboradores, sobretudo as sessões de equivalência semântica e equivalência de mensuração, seguindo também recomendações feitas por Coster e Mancini, particularmente na etapa de tradução. Assim sendo, a primeira etapa refere-se à tradução do questionário para a língua portuguesa, a segunda etapa, a contra-tradução, a terceira, a comparação semântica e a quarta, a validação final do constructo. A tradução do questionário SOSG-OQ 2.0 feita pelos três tradutores apresentou grande similaridade na maioria das questões. Todos os títulos e subtítulos de perguntas foram mantidos pelos tradutores, assim como a ordem interna e externa das perguntas. A contra-tradução da tradução conciliada foi realizada por dois tradutores juramentados, com fluência nativa na língua inglesa. Ambas contra-traduções foram bastante similares, sendo as divergências sanadas por consenso entre o autor principal e os tradutores juramentados, sendo assim, a versão traduzida foi considerada como a versão final. Este estudo apresenta uma versão traduzida do questionário SOSG-OQ 2.0 que apresenta validade semântica com a versão original publicada em inglês, permitindo a sua aplicação para a população brasileira, assim adicionado mais uma ferramenta para que os cirurgiões de coluna possam acompanhar este complexo grupo de pacientes mais satisfatoriamente.

Thus, the elaboration of a specific questionnaire to understand the impact of metastatic tumors on the quality of these patients is fundamental, allowing a better follow-up of this population. For this reason, the Spine Oncologic Study Group Oncologic Questionnarie version 2.0 (SOSG-OQ 2.0) was prepared. However, there is still no version of this questionnaire for the Portuguese language, therefore, the objective of this work is to translate the SOSG-OQ 2.0 into a Portuguese version, culturally adapted for the Brazilian population, which will enable its application in patients in the national territory. and will allow Brazilian researchers to use a questionnaire that tends to be in vogue in the scientific literature. Basic, non-randomized, non-comparative research. The translation stages were carried out as proposed by Beaton, mainly the semantic equivalence and measurement equivalence sessions, also following recommendations made by Coster and Mancini, mainly in the translation stage. The first stage is the translation of the questionnaire into Portuguese, the second stage is the counter-translation, the third is the semantic comparison and the fourth is the final validation of the construct. The translation of the SOSG-OQ 2.0 questionnaire made by the three translators showed great similarity in most questions. All question titles and subtitles were maintained by the translators, as well as the internal and external order of the questions. The counter-translation of the reconciled translation was carried out by two sworn translators, with native fluency in the English language. Both counter-translations were quite similar, with the differences resolved by consensus between the main author and the sworn translators, thus the translated version was considered the final version. This study presents a translated version of the SOSG-OQ questionnaire that has semantic validity with the original version published in English, allowing its application to the Brazilian population, thus adding another tool so that spine surgeons can better monitor this complex group of patients.
