This research seeks to reveal the relationship between the modes of popular artistic production and the process of spatial production in the social, cultural and urban sense. This, through the analysis of an insurgent art project1 inserted in a specific context: the II Biennial of Arts of Ouvidor 63 Occupation, Other Possible Worlds. The event that has its origins in an artistic occupation in the São Paulos downtown and inhabited by more than 140 people, unfolds in other places in the city, close to the building of Ouvidor 63. At the same time and through this study case, the intersection between the historical marginalization of the struggle housings movements and the emergence of cultural production spaces in emergency situations is addressed in recognized occasions, in others ignored by the institutional circuit, where the social integration and the un-elitization2 of the art are key. It is interesting to problematize whether such a cross, observed in the case of the II Biennial of Arts Ouvidor 63, can be understood as an exercise of micropolitics, that is, as a dynamic that operates from the desire and the experience of each subject that composes a certain group or mode of social organization, capable of elaborating an analysis and later evolution. Thus, the investigation is divided into three moments. The first presents the state of the art of the object located temporarily between February and September 2018 through testimonies of the involved actors, photographic and cartographic survey of the specialization of actions and activities, in addition to a selection of works produced in the framework of the II Biennial of Arts Ouvidor 63. The second, it analyzes the object and its immediate context the Ouvidor 63 Occupation , together with instances of institutional invisibility that directly affect the occupation, as well as insurgent artistic projects developed during the last decades in São Paulo. The third moment interweaves the background of the object of investigation with the place it occupies in society. The analysis is carried out through the bibliographic review of authors such as Suely Rolnik, Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Moacir dos Anjos and Michel de Certeau. In times of political crisis, of oppression in the field of arts and culture, in addition to a strong demand for equal access to the best equipped areas of the city, this research seeks to analyze the relevance of dissident modes of artistic production in the resignification of abandoned urban spaces and as a way to problematize sociocultural issues in the city of São Paulo. 1. Term used here to refer to modes of artistic production different from those traditionally established in official circuits that, by questioning the hegemony of the existing ones, reveal alternatives of places, actors and creation processes. 2. Despite the fact that the word is not part of the formal- norm of the portuguese language, we maintained the choice of this because there was not a precise synonym that expresses the same idea.
