Abstract in English
This research work presents the Guarani-Mbya who live in Jaraguá, São Paulo - SP and their multiple landscapes. The reframing of the Guarani world happens by their spiritual practices, community life and its interaction with nature. Therefore, this work describes living in Tekoa (village), its spatialities and perspectives towards the dominant society. Some of their main challenges as a people are to preserve their rights and territory. In this way, maintaining their land, relations with the environment and the oral knowledge from mythologies are fundamental to their culture. This work shows some of these aspects and subtleties in juxtaposition to the difficulties presented by the circumstances of the Indigenous Land of Jaraguá. Therefore, through an interdisciplinary study, we seek to understand how the Guarani understand their world, move around it, interact and create spaces and narratives of resistance.
