Esta pesquisa de doutorado tem como objetivo compreender os sentidos do habitar poiético no filósofo Henri Lefebvre, por meio da análise das possibilidades e dimensões da participação e da apropriação no âmbito da arquitetura. Busca-se, assim, um possível diálogo com propostas arquitetônicas contemporâneas que coloquem a participação como eixo projetual, metodológico e criativo, em suas diversas nuances. Partimos da constatação de que a participação tem sido utilizada, atualmente, de maneira instrumental e institucionalizada, o que revela um logos, uma linguagem e racionalidade ainda patentes. No entanto, pretendemos mostrar que, enquanto tratamos da participação de maneira utilitária, em essência, não há participação. Assim, a tese parte da hipótese de que a análise do habitar poiético lefebvriano, confrontada tanto com o habitat quanto com propostas participativas, indica a necessidade de uma negação dialética de representações ainda vigentes no pensamento crítico arquitetônico. Isto é, atesta que o atual uso conceitual e prático da participação apresenta contradições internas, inerentes a uma lógica e ao âmbito das representações, ainda insuperadas e que precisam ser negadas dialeticamente sobretudo as relacionadas ao conceito de propriedade privada, mas também ao de direito, utilidade, individualidade, finalidade, função e dever. Suas conclusões sugerem que a saída para diversas aporias elencadas deva ser buscada pela poiesis. Assim, indicam uma irrupção do valor de uso em detrimento do valor de troca, como também do imaginário, da fruição, do lúdico, do resto, do irracional. Enfim, do outro, como uma negatividade em relação a uma racionalidade que ainda vigora nas dinâmicas do habitat contemporâneo.

This doctoral research aims to understand the meanings of poietic inhabiting in the philosopher Henri Lefebvre, through the analysis of the possibilities and dimensions of participation and appropriation in the scope of architecture. Thus, it seeks a possible dialogue with contemporary architectural proposals that place participation as a projectual, methodological and creative axis, in its various nuances. We start from the observation that participation has been currently used in an instrumental and institutionalized way, which reveals a logos, a language and rationality that are still patent. However, we intend to show that while we treat participation in a utilitarian way, in essence, there is no participation. Thus, the thesis starts from the hypothesis that the analysis of Lefebvrian's poietic inhabiting, confronted both with the habitat and with participatory proposals, indicates the need for a dialectical negation of still current representations in architectural critical thinking. That is, it attests that the ongoing conceptual and practical use of participation presents internal contradictions, inherent to a logic and to the sphere of representations, which are still unsurpassed and that need to be dialectically denied especially those related to the concept of private property, but also to that of rights, utility, individuality, purpose, function, and duty. Its conclusions suggest that the exit for several listed aporias must be sought through poiesis. Thus, they indicate an irruption of use value to the detriment of exchange value, as well as of the imaginary, enjoyment, the ludic, the rest, the irrational. That is, the other, as a negativity in relation to a rationality that still prevails in the dynamics of the contemporary habitat.
