Este trabalho analisa o desempenho técnico-construtivo do sistema de impermeabilização de poliureia aplicado na cobertura do edifício Vilanova Artigas, sede da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo. A pesquisa está inserida no estudo da manutenção preventiva aplicada na conservação de edifícios e está voltada, especificamente, ao estudo de sistemas de impermeabilização aderidos em coberturas planas. Para essa análise foi realizado o levantamento da cronologia construtiva da cobertura objeto de estudo, assim como levantamentos in loco na membrana aplicada e analises laboratoriais do material impermeabilizante (poliureia). Foram feitas correlações entre os resultados obtidos nos ensaios laboratoriais do material poliureia com as condições físicas e ambientais da cobertura do edifício e do sistema de impermeabilização.

This work analyzes the technical-constructive performance of the polyurea waterproofing system applied to the Vilanova Artigas building, home of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo. The research is inserted in the study of the preventive maintenance applied in the conservation of buildings and is directed, specifically, to the study of systems of waterproofing adhered in flat roofs. For this analysis was carried out the survey of the constructive chronology of the roof object of study, as well as in situ surveys in the applied membrane and laboratory analyzes of the waterproofing material (polyurea). Correlations were made between the results obtained in the laboratory tests of the polyurea material with the physical and environmental conditions of the building roof and the waterproofing system.
