Ordem e origem em Lina Bo Bardi

Arquitetura moderna (Brasil)
Lina Bo Bardi (1914-1992)

Abstract in English
This thesis discusses the architect, Lina Bo Bardi's work, parting from two viewpoints, which we will call The Myth of Order and the Myth of Origin respectively. The Myth of Order refers to a Pythagorean-Platonic Nucleus that presents a certain degree of persistence in the western architectonic thought including the Modern Movement. Myth of Origin understands the recurrent idea, also present in the Modern Movement, of a primordial and primitive architecture capable of containing the genuine principles of which the subsequent architectural movements should refer to as a guarantee of authenticity.
